Gwendolyn Garnett Thomas is the co-founder of a multicultural strategy and staffing firm specializing in homeownership, sales training and customer service. She is the former Neighborhood Lending executive for the Consumer Real Estate division of Bank of America. In this capacity she was responsible for driving multicultural and low-to-moderate income lending sales, education and counseling. During her tenure in Consumer Real Estate, multicultural lending increased from 22.2% to 28 percent of total production over a three year period. In 2005, Thomas received the "Realm of Possibilities Award" from the ethnic real estate trade associations and Bank of America received the Lending Industry Diversity Conference Minority Market Penetration Award in 2005. Thomas recently retired from Bank of America after 24 years of distinguished service where she was the Consumer Real Estate Multicultural executive, National Loan Center executive and Regional Loan Center executive.
