Rebecca Gallardo Serrano Rebecca Gallardo Serrano NAHREP Chairman

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

Welcome to the home of the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP). We are a mission driven trade organization that is devoted to preserving and increasing the rate of Hispanic homeownership through the support of the real estate professionals that serve them.

In this historic and critical time in the housing market, NAHREP is exercising its influence to advocate for changes that preserve homeownership for distressed low- to moderate-income homeowners and promote sustainable homeownership for Latinos that hope to one day achieve the American Dream. At the same time, we recognize that it is vitally important to support initiatives that enable our members -- bilingual and bicultural real estate practitioners -- to continue to thrive and deliver service in Hispanic communities across this great nation.

We are actionable and committed to our cause and will continue to work closely with lawmakers, government officials and business leaders to raise awareness for the unintended consequences that some solutions may cause Latino Homeowners and homebuyers. Latinos, by virtue of their sheer numbers, have the potential to reinvigorate the housing economy and it is our goal to ensure that this new generation has the benefit of every possible advantage that enables them to partake of the American Dream. Hispanics will represent 40 percent of first time homebuyers in the next decade thereby making first time homebuying programs imminently critical to the country’s housing growth.

Thanks for checking us out. We invite you to take a few moments to get to know more about NAHREP, our leadership team, our sponsors and the 15,500 members that make up the fastest growing minority trade association in the real estate industry.
